The party that was

Wedding, graduation and farewell all in one

What a party! Such a nice place, weather and people. Now that this is over, all we have left is the memory. But it will be a good memory for us anyway. Thanks to everyone who made this as fun as it was.

Upload pictures

Here you can upload photos that you have taken from the wedding. You will be able to see all the pictures when it is ready.

Program

Here is an overview of what will happen on the different days.

Thursday 19th of September

The house is open from 4 PM on Thursday and you can come exactly when you want. There will be an informal dinner around 6 PM and evening leftovers for those who may come later.

Friday 20th of September

Breakfast at Hotel Rasta from 9-10.30 for those who wish.

This is the day when most of the guests arrive and you are free to do what you want. Perhaps you want to sleep for a long time, hang out by the pool in the villa, go for a long walk in the surrounding area or take a trip to Liseberg. There will be various activities at the villa as well. No lunch this day, but dinner is served in the villa at 6pm and it will be pretty quiet in the house after 10pm so those who want can rest until Saturday.

Saturday 21st of September

Breakfast at Hotel Rasta from 9-10.30 for those who wish.

The big party. For overnight guests, lunch will be served at 12 followed by a bridal toast at 15. Dinner is served approx. at 17.30. After there will be music and dancing.

For those arriving on Saturday from Gothenburg, a bus leaves Post Hotel at the Central Station at 1:30 p.m. There is a bus back from the villa to Hotell Rasta and then Gothenburg at 01.15. Contact James for questions about the bus transport on +46704231335

Sunday 22nd of September

On Sunday we eat breakfast together at Hotel Rasta between 9-10.30 before we pack up and separate teams.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about transport to and from?

On Saturday we have organized a bus that runs from Post Hotel at the Central Station in Gothenburg at 13.30 to the villa. The bus returns to Gothenburg at 01.15 and swing past the hotel (Rasta) on the way. Contact James for questions about the bus transport on +46704231335

We have requested accommodation. How do we pay?

You pay on arrival.

Prices:

  • Single room SEK 806 per night.
  • Double room SEK 1076 per night.
  • Family room SEK 1256 per night.
What do we do with the children?

We recommend a babysitter, if possible. It will be an adult party, but older children who do not need a babysitter are considered adults. We’re personally getting a babysitter on Thursday and Saturday so we can join the parties, and Mio and Rumi will hang out with us on Friday.

What about gifts?

We really have everything we need already, but if you feel you absolutely have to give something, you can make a contribution towards the honeymoon.

Do we have to spend the night?

No, but it can be a little extra fun, then. Guests from Gothenburg are allowed to sleep at home if they wish.

What should I pack?

Clothes for the weather, party wear and swimwear.

May I give a speech?

Speeches are great fun when they don't take all evening. Toastmistress Shabbe is responsible for organizing this. You can contact her at shabnam.davachi@gmail.com if you want to give a speech.

Where are we going?

We have rented a really nice villa at Lilla Edet approximately. 30 minutes north of Gothenburg

The villa from 1906 is peacefully located 35 minutes from Gothenburg
The house is full of possibilities for different zones and activities
